May 27th-29th: Cinque Terre, Italy
Photos are a great way to preserve your memories, but often it is hard to capture a great moment or view with your camera. 19 UAA members faced this “problem” many times at the UAA Summer Session 2011: The 5 beautiful villages of Cinque Terre, embedded in a spectacular coast, facing the dark blue sea under the bright blue sky. It is hard to capture this onto a chip. But luckily, we had two professional photographers who explained to us the technical basics of photography and the principals of good composition. We were able to practise and improve our skills when walking around the villages or taking the boat from one to the other. On the spot we learned to avoid the “auto”-modus and that photography is real art.
In the end everybody got not only some nice pictures but also a relaxing weekend with old a new friends, great weather and delicious food.
These are just some example pictures, you can find more here.
